Digby-area resident Carl Trask is asking what it’s going to take to get some road improvements in his neck of the woods. 
Carl says he has been sending out letters to whoever he can because the road on which he lives, Gilberts Cove Road near Doucetteville, is so bad that service vehicles often have issues passing through.

Saved by the bell...

 There’s rarely a proposed school shuttering in this province that doesn’t begin with howls of outrage (and end in tears — ed.), and often enough there are hints of some sort of shenanigans to boot. 
 Such is the case of Pentz Elementary School in Pleasantville, on the South Shore, which was saved along with Petite Riviere School by court order.
