Truro centre slammer silenced

While it seems that the Truro Daily News speaks very highly of the (hopefully) soon-to-open Rath Eastlink Community Centre, at least one Hub Townian is not singing the same tune.

Jim MacAfee says he tried to pay for a space in the Truro fishy wrapper’s classified section criticizing the approximately $50 million community centre.

Lawsuit-happy Ralph blasted by judge

Noted lawsuit aficionado Ralph Ivan Doncaster has been ordered to pay $2,500 to both the Chignecto Regional School Board and the Attorney General of Nova Scotia. This wraps up Ralph’s failed lawsuit against both bodies.

Ralph had sued the school board and the AG after a chaotic incident where he attempted to pick his children up from school.
