Cabbie Ronnie Henderson’s fatal final fare

Over dinner in Tantallon recently, the former Mrs. Ronnie Henderson tells me she would never have met her future husband if it wasn’t for one fateful phonecall.
The year was 1974. Just a girl of 17, she rang up a friend who lived at a rooming house on Almon Street in Halifax. But her galpal didn’t answer the phone. It was Ronnie.
