The Cape Breton Regional Police Service’s review of its management of a domestic violence case has been completed. Just don’t expect the results of the review to be made public, because it won’t see the light of day. 

As reported in Frank 657, Provincial Court Judge Jean Whalen criticized the police after Michael Bradley Currie was acquitted of uttering threats against his ex-wife.

A disturbing lawsuit was launched in Halifax Supreme Court on January 9 against the Halifax Region School Board and a former substitute teacher, Michael McNutt.
Halifax resident Colin Strangward alleges he was threatened and sexually assaulted over almost a two-year period in the late 1980s.

Doucet’s lawyer, Halifax legal eagle Joel Pink, had been urging media to read the report after Michael Ryan had been making the rounds on Youtube and through media outlets across the country.
