Kanata is the aboriginal word for “village,” and it just so happens to be from where Canada derived its name.
All names have been changed to protect those who perhaps don’t deserve protecting, but then, we don’t want CSEC or CSIS or any of those fellows sniffing around the Frank Bunker, do we?

Diligent River is a lovely little community nestled in the hills of Cumberland County. It’s full of fossils and blueberries and places to snowmobile in the winter and ATV in the summer.

But that’s not the D.R. I’m talking about. The Dominican Republic is a big part of the Caribbean island of Hispaniola. It shares the island with Haiti, and its main business is tourism.
